♫ London Bridge is Falling Down ♫

Oops, this post is a little late. :)

So last week on Thursday, John quickly decided to take Friday off work and told me to plan a day out.  It was short notice but I was still very excited.  The weather was gorgeous last week in the + teens, sun shining, flowers beginning to bloom.  So Friday morning we get up and ready to head off to the big city.  We took the tube to the end of the line and ended up near the Bank of London, and started walking following my map skills (which there are few of) but we found our way to the London Monument which was right next to London Bridge.  We stopped off at a pub near the Monument for lunch, then headed over London Bridge towards The Borough Market, which is full of food venues, tons of meats, cheeses, and breads.  It was very busy and difficult to manoeuvre though with the stroller.  Once done at the market we head over to the Tower Bridge.  We walked across the Tower Bridge and admire the Tower of London from outside the Tower walls.  Then we found the tube station and make our way back home.  We didn't explore anything to extreme but we had a great day together as a family and now have ideas on many more adventures for in the future.

The London Monument, 311 steps to the top.  One day I will climb it!

Maci sleeping away all the excitement.

The Tower Bridge.  We will also explore this one day.

Our gorgeous little lady.
